Thanasis is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager with more than 15 years of experience in telecommunications, ICT research, business consulting, and European innovation projects. He holds a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Laser Communications from the University of Essex, and a PhD in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where his research focused on advanced optical communication systems and photonic technologies. 

Throughout his career, Thanasis has combined strong technical expertise with business consulting capabilities, supporting organizations in telecommunications strategy, cost optimization, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. He has led and coordinated multiple EU-funded research and innovation projects. In addition, he developed extensive expertise in telecommunications procurement and cost management, delivering significant savings and operational efficiencies for major enterprises across sectors including banking, retail, insurance, manufacturing, and consumer goods. His work spans market analysis, benchmarking, contract optimization, RFP development, and vendor evaluation.
