XGain is a European research and innovation project addressing the digital divide in rural, coastal, and remote regions by providing stakeholders with a Knowledge Facilitation Tool (KFT) to assess and select optimal connectivity and edge computing technologies.
The project supports multi-actor decision-making by integrating socio-economic and techno-environmental assessments and develops innovative business models to foster sustainable, inclusive development. XGain validates its outputs through diverse use cases across European rural communities, enabling stakeholder-driven innovation and deployment of smart connectivity solutions.

Role of InCites Consulting:
Lead activities related to the development of the XGain Knowledge Facilitation Tool
InCites Consulting (INCITES) leads activities related to the development of the XGain Knowledge Facilitation Tool, covering the definition of tool requirements and specifications as well as the techno-economic assessment of last-mile and edge technological solutions. INCITES also contributes to the definition of use cases and requirements, and actively supports dissemination and clustering activities.
