The project introduced a flexible, edge-centric, and software-defined architecture, integrating edge computing, distributed AI, virtualisation, and blockchain-based trust mechanisms to enable secure, low-latency, and interoperable IoT services. TERMINET validated its approach through real-world use cases across multiple domains, including smart farming, smart buildings, healthcare, supply chains, and industrial maintenance.
