ELECTRON develops a next-generation platform for resilient Electrical Power and Energy Systems (EPES), addressing cyber, data, and privacy-related vulnerabilities.
The project adopts a multi-layered security approach, integrating advanced intrusion and anomaly detection mechanisms and post-quantum cryptography to safeguard future energy infrastructures. ELECTRON also advances proactive risk assessment and certification, aligned with the EU Cybersecurity Act, to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities across the energy sector.
